Digital Audiovisual Creation Competition (DAVC)
The basic aim of the project is to create possibilities for young people to present their audio visual
pieces and to develop their skills further. Under presentation falls also the sharing of their creations
via BFM music juniors activities in Estonnia and internationally.
The content aim of the project is to cover digital audiovisual creation means broader while taking
into account the variety of aestetic-style and genre differences between several fields, film music as
conjoining field as well as cross-over creations.
In focus is also group creation, not only in band or ensemble categories but also in the audiovisual
and music production in general, because many today's young people create their music together

and digital/web-based music creation environments function often as social media communities.
The indirect goal is to grow the number of potential student candidates for the diferent curriculae of
the participating universities via offering the talented youngsters first and deeper skills and practical
experiences in the important AV-creation fields. This improves their competency to understand the
aestetic and technical level they use for their creation as non-professionals so far and what are their
potential in future in familiar and unfamiliar fields.
